FESTIVAL fun came to a school when it transformed into Beaumontbury for an afternoon – with no wellies required.

It was peace and love all round as the children tried samba drumming, learned basic ukulele tunes and circus skills, and made festival jewellery.
Earlier in the week they had tie-dyed t-shirts and decorated headbands so they looked the part, and made shakers to accompany the live band.
The event was organised by teaching assistant Beth Rowlands, who explained: “We wanted to do something that was exciting and where everyone could get involved and be creative in some way.
The staff were supported by Apollo Arts, a Stockton-based theatre company that takes its live music and creative experiences into schools.
