BUDDING engineers put their bushcraft skills to the test at an annual den building day
BUDDING engineers put their bushcraft skills to the test at an annual den building day.
Parents and children joined staff, family and families in a dengineering day of delight in the grounds of Prep School.
Organised by The Friends of Barnard Castle Preparatory School, the annual event witnessed
a wealth of materials transformed into showcase of shelters thanks to the engineering ingenuity of pupils and their helpers.
Barnard Castle Preparatory School headmistress Laura Turner said: “The level of resourcefulness and imagination demonstrated at dengineering day never fails to amaze me, as does the creativity and skills involved in the construction work.
“The activity remains one of my favourites of the host of events organised by Barney Friends and everyone had a fantastic time.”
